Positive Discipline
Positive Discipline

At Jump, our primary goal is to nurture the social, emotional, and cognitive skills of every child, with the belief that each child has the potential to become a global leader. To achieve this, we use Positive Discipline, which is designed to promote integral growth among students as active and valuable members of our learning community. We recognize and embrace each child's individual needs to feel safe and included in the classroom, and encourage students to participate in classroom discussions, where they can develop essential leadership and life skills, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Positive Discipline also provides students with tools for self-regulation, allowing them to make good decisions and develop respectful relationships that extend beyond the classroom and into their personal lives.

At Jump, we are committed to providing an engaging and supportive environment that helps our students develop important social and emotional skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. Through Positive Discipline, we aim to create a community of confident, capable, and caring individuals who are ready to take on the challenges of the world. Our program helps students learn to question their decisions and choose the right way to handle difficult situations, leading to the development of respectful relationships that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. With a focus on positive relationships, mutual respect, and empathy, we believe that our students will be equipped to succeed not just academically, but in all aspects of their personal and professional lives.

Innovation Month
Innovation Month for Preschool

At Jump, we offer a range of engaging programs for both current and new Day School students. For our current students, our programs maintain consistency in language and routines, with the same teachers and class they are accustomed to throughout the year. For new students, our Day School provides a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, learn important target language skills, and have fun with their new teacher. In addition, our Innovation Month program provides a perfect balance between Project Based Learning through STEAM and outdoor play during the summer, allowing children to develop their curiosity through science, innovation, and sharing of ideas. Our program is complemented with meaningful on-site visits from our local community, public speaking opportunities, and school fairs, creating an engaging and interactive environment that supports the needs of every child.

Prek 2.5 - The Farm

At Jump, our little ones engage in an exciting study that teaches them all about the fascinating world of farms. Through hands-on projects, music and movement, our students learn to name and describe farm animals, fruits, and vegetables, preparing them for an actual visit to our indoor petting farm at school. This program is designed to be engaging and fun, allowing children to learn through play and exploration while developing important cognitive and social skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.

Prek 3 - Music and Movement

At Jump, we offer an engaging program that teaches children about the music that surrounds them. Our students interact with instruments and even create their own, preparing them for a fun and exciting Music and Movement show with a professional musician who visits our school. This program is designed to be fun and interactive, allowing children to explore and learn through hands-on experiences and creative expression. At Jump, we believe that music is an important part of a well-rounded education, and our program is just one example of the exciting opportunities we offer to help our students develop important skills and a love for learning.

Prek 4 - Deep Blue Ocean

At Jump, our students embark on an exciting journey to learn more about their favorite sea animals. Through arts and crafts, they learn about the characteristics of different species, while music and movement activities allow them to express themselves as sea creatures. As part of this program, our students also have the opportunity to explore and touch some of the animals they have learned about, providing a fun and interactive way to reinforce their learning. At Jump, we believe that hands-on experiences and creative expression are essential to a well-rounded education, and our sea animal program is just one example of the many exciting opportunities we offer to help our students develop important skills and a love for learning.

Character Buliding Program
Prek 2.5 Character Building – The Study of the Squirrel

Our Children Building Projects are leadership themes designed to foster character-building skills in children, such as friendship, respect, collaboration, and understanding. Children in our 2.5-year-old class are learning about the resourceful and independent squirrel and how they adapt to changes, just like children who are transitioning from home to school.

These projects encourage our young learners to explore and learn about the world around them, while also developing important social and emotional skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. Through fun and engaging activities, our children are able to build relationships, learn empathy and respect for others, and develop a sense of independence and confidence that will help them succeed in Preschool 3 and beyond.

Prek 3 Character Building – Teddy Bear Care

Our Children Building Projects are year-long themes that focus on developing character-building skills, such as friendship, respect, collaboration, and understanding. For example, in our 3-year-old program, children are introduced to the caring nature of the teddy bear. Through this project, they learn empathy, kindness, generosity, and the importance of sharing their feelings with others. The teddy bear becomes an extension of the children, and they learn to communicate their emotions through this medium. These projects help our young learners to develop important social and emotional skills that will serve them well in all aspects of their lives. By fostering a sense of caring and empathy, we aim to create a community of thoughtful, compassionate, and confident individuals who are ready to succeed in Preschool 4 and beyond.

Prek 4 Character Building - The Ant Study

In our 4-year-old program, our students learn about the diligent ants and how they work as a team for the betterment of the whole. Through this program, our Preschool 4 children develop an understanding of how their roles and jobs impact the overall class, while learning to work together to achieve a common goal and celebrate their successes as a team. This program encourages our young learners to develop important social and emotional skills that will serve them well throughout their lives, while also providing a fun and interactive way to explore and learn about the world around them. At Jump, we believe that education is about more than just academics, and our Children Building Projects program is just one example of the exciting opportunities we offer to help our students develop important skills and a love for learning.
