We’re currently hiring for the following positions:

Spanish Preschool Teacher
Job Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities included, but are not limited to the following:

  • Working with Spanish Program Director to develop lesson plans

  • Supervising children at all times and protect the safety of all children at the center (ages 2.5-3)

  • Communicating appropriately and professionally with fellow staff and parents

  • Assembling portfolios documenting student progress

  • Communicating frequently with children naming objects, actions, using who, what, when, where, why and open ended questions

  • Exhibiting behavior and classroom management consistent with our philosophy

  • Treating each child with respect and respond to the individual needs and learning styles of each child

  • Knowing and following NJ Child Care Center State Guidelines
Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a native Spanish speaker

  • Bachelor’s ECE or related field preferred; Associate’s Degree with over 8 years’ experience may be considered

  • At least 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred

  • Willing and able to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC, and ECE state guidelines

  • Current First-Aid and CPR certification; evidence of Negative TB, physical exam, and MMR verification

Mandarin Preschool Teacher

Substitute Teacher - Mandarin and Spanish
Job Responsibilities

This position serves as a Substitute Teacher for a Preschool classroom. The Substitute Teacher is called in as needed. The Substitute Teacher will work collaboratively with the Teacher to ensure the successful operation of a classroom of children. The Substitute Teacher also works with a team of other classroom Teachers, Assistant Teachers and Specials Teachers to implement curriculum to achieve outcomes for children of all abilities.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma required. CDA or degree in early childhood education or related preferred.
  • Spanish/Mandarin native speaker

  • Pass physical examination, background check, and fingerprinting screen

  • Able to lift a child weighing 40 pounds, 20 times a day if needed.

  • Obtain certification in CPR and First Aid.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of Creative Curriculum preferred

  • Excellent classroom management skills.

  • Dependable and responsible.

  • Must work well with others.
