How Jump's online training is different:

Since March, Jump parents have been experiencing first hand the quality of our online teaching in our Day School and Summer Camp. Some things that make Jump's program top notch are:

  • Academically focused small class sizes
  • Online classes have dedicated teacher and student rosters for focused results
  • NEW! - Private Parent Portal for safety
  • Live classes 4 hours per day and pre-recorded lessons to view any time
  • Daily newsletters, report cards and Parent conferences
  • Differentiated learning, homework and projects
  • Caring Education Specialists that guide teachers, curriculum and coursework
  • Community time – karaoke, scavenger hunts, dance parties, crazy hair day and cultural celebrations.

Day School students will adhere to the Standards and Objectives for NJ in all core subjects of Math, Language Arts (English and Target Language), Science, Social Studies, Public Speaking and Arts.

FAQs

  • Our online program is an annual commitment. If in January there are spots open in our in-person programs, we will try to accommodate moving children from the online program back into classrooms on a first come, first serve basis. Otherwise, for staffing and class cohesiveness reasons, we need to maintain the same rosters in online classes.

  • Our method of immersion learning relies on consistency. As such this program is designed to be year long. Unfortunately we cannot offer month to month enrollments.

  • Once we've received your registration (see button below) our staff will contact you for your billing details. Down payments can be made via CC or check, while monthly charges will be made via ACH payment.

Here's what our parents have been saying:

My son has been with Jump since preK for 2 full summer camps and 2 academic years. While we speak only English at home, he has learned through school to speak confidently in Mandarin and, my Taiwanese mother tells me, with a native Chinese accent! We have been so pleased with his academic and social development and he still adores every teacher he has had. When the state shut down in the wake of a global pandemic, Jump staff created a virtual curriculum that allowed my son to continue making progress in Mandarin and English language arts, as well as mathematics, science, and social studies.

It was a steep learning curve for us all, but Jump staff helped us motivate our child to stay engaged and to keep learning. If nothing else, bringing the work home gave us parents a deeper appreciation for all our educators do. We were so grateful that Jump values the significance of social connections for young children. My son had online meetings with teachers and classmates at least twice daily and was offered a slew of group activities like games, music, movement, crafts, and storytelling. In these uncertain times, we trust Jump will do their best to provide the fullest educational immersion experience in person and online. - Nina, July 2020

"My son attended Jump Immersion School for 3 years from pre-k 3 through Kindergarten. All of his teachers have been very loving, kind, knowledgeable, and dedicated. He was happy there. His teachers provided a great balance of nurturing and academics which allowed him to thrive. Everyone was very involved and it felt like family. I loved how the staff was always there for us and willing to address any concerns we had as parents. For example, when we had to abruptly go from in person to online learning due to the Coronavirus, it was a big adjustment for both teachers and students. Through open communication, feedback and the teachers constant dedication to their kids, the program continued to improve to keep him learning and engaged. It was a learning experience for all of us but we got through it together. It takes a village to raise a child. Jump was our village." - Jessica, July 2020
